Rey Mysterio Unmasked

1. Eddie Guerrero- WCW Nitro 1997
In real life, Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero were strong friends, but their on-screen friendship was sporadic. And it was Mysterio's friend that unmasked him twice. The first time it happened was in 1997, when Dean Malenko defeated Rey Mysterio in their first-ever singles encounter. Guerrero stormed the ring after Mysterio's defeat and yanked Mysterio's mask off his head.

2. Kevin Nash & Scott Hall- WCW Superbrawl IX, 1999
In February 1999, Rey Mysterio and Kanon faced Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in a mask vs. hair battle at WCW Superbrawl IX. Following the loss in that match, Rey Mysterio was required to unmask himself as per the agreement. This is his most well-known live television unmasking, as it occurred on a Pay-Per-View (PPV) show.
3. Eddie Guerrero- WWE SmackDown, 2005
Eddie Guerrero ripped off Rey Mysterio's mask for the second time, which was the final insult. In 2005, the tag team MNM attacked Mysterio on a WWE SmackDown programme. Eddie Guerrero arrived first to save Mysterio. But then he unmasked Mysterio and turned on him.
4. Kane- WWE RAW, July 2008
Kane began carrying a mystery satchel with him in 2008. Mike Adamle, the General Manager of WWE RAW, urged Kane to reveal what was inside the mysterious sack during a segment on the show. Kane then unmasked Rey Mysterio and revealed that he had attacked him. Kane also continued to suggest that Mysterio's career was over. Mysterio, on the other hand, reappeared a few weeks later to assault Kane.

5. Chris Jericho – WWE Extreme Rules, 7 June 2009
At Extreme Rules 2009, Rey Mysterio defended his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chris Jericho. During the build-up to the event, Jericho stated that he would not only win the IC title, but would also reveal Rey's identity. As Mysterio was going to execute 619 during the match's climax, Jericho countered by grabbing Mysterio's mask and ripping it off his head. That night, Jericho also won the Intercontinental Championship. Mysterio reclaimed the title from Jericho at "The Bash," where he fooled Jericho with a second mask.
6. Cody Rhodes- WWE SmackDown, 25 February 2011
Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio had a fantastic rivalry in February of 2011. Mysterio walked down to shake hands with Dusty Rhodes in the ring during a segment on February 25, 2011. Cody Rhodes took advantage of the chance to attack Rey Mysterio and then unmasked him live on television.

7. Randy Orton- WWE SmackDown, 20 November 2018
Orton and Mysterio developed a feud in November 2018, and one of their matches aired on an episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. After defeating Mysterio in the match, Orton attacked him by slamming his head into a steel chair. Orton was only happy after removing Mysterio's mask and carrying it away with him after throwing him around the ring.

8. Andrade- WWE RAW, 6 January 2020
Wrestler Andrade is the most recent to achieve so. At the Raw programme on January 6, 2020, Rey Mysterio fought Andrade for the United States Championship, and Andrade won the match to retain the championship. Following the match, Andrade furthered his villain reputation by ripping Mysterio's mask off his head.
