BIOGRAPHY
Richard Madden was born on June 18, 1986, in Elderslie, Scotland. The son of a teacher and a firefighter, Richard was an extremely shy child, so his parents, seeking encouragement for the little one, enrolled him in the youth theater program at the Paisley Arts Centre. There, after some sessions, Richard was chosen for the role of Andy, in the film Complicity (2000), sharing the scene with actors Brian Cox and Jonny Lee Miller.
Shortly afterward she appeared in the television series Barmy Aunt Boomerang (2000) and the television film Taggart (2002). Fascinated with acting, Richard paused his career, momentarily, to study at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, where he landed leading roles in plays such as Romeo and Juliet and Tom Ford .
In 2009, Richard returned to television, with the series Hope Springs (2009), later joining the cast of the series Sirens (2011). But his big role comes when he is chosen to play Robb Stark, in the popular HBO series, Game of Thrones (2011), over 21 episodes.
In film, Richard has appeared in films such as Cinderella (2015), Paris Assault (2016) and Ibiza (2018), among others.
