In preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Mamelodi Sundowns’ head coach, Rulani Mokwena, has expressed his confidence in Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen’s potential impact during the tournament.
Osimhen, who currently holds the title of CAF Player of the Year, is anticipated to lead the Super Eagles to success in Ivory Coast.
With an impressive record of 26 goals last season, Osimhen played a pivotal role in Napoli’s triumph in securing the historic Scudetto title.
During the AFCON qualification campaign, the 25-year-old emerged as the top goalscorer, having netted 10 goals.
