A video of the governor and his daughter, Adenike, having a great time at a party has garnered admiration, with many lauding the chemistry between them.
In the video, Adenike, clad in a pink and white two-piece outfit, displayed her shared love for dancing with her father. Not shying away from dancing and making people comfortable, the governor joined his daughter in flaunting his dance skills. They enjoyed moving their bodies to Feel, a song by their nephew and cousin, Davido.
The governor has consistently demonstrated his appreciation for his family. A viral video from years ago showed Adeleke dancing with Adenike beside a car, grooving to Duro, a song by Augustine Kelechi, aka Tekno.
Adenike evidently takes after her father in many ways, as seen on her social media pages where she documents various moments of her life on her YouTube channel, “Keeping up with Nikos.”
In November 2023, she expressed her happiness on Instagram about spending time with her family, stating, “More family time. (I am) so happy we got to spend time with my daddy.”
The governor has been captured in jovial moments with his children on previous occasions. He was seen singing and dancing with his son, Adebayo, aka B-Red, to the latter’s song, Jaburata.
In an interview with Channels TV, the governor emphasized that the Adelekes were naturally gifted entertainers, attributing it to being in their family blood. He mentioned that entertainment runs in the family, highlighting the musical talents of his sons, Davido, Shina Rambo, and B-Red. Furthermore, he expressed his long-standing passion for dancing and his significant achievements in dance competitions.
Governor Adeleke, often referred to as the ‘dancing senator’, continues to embrace his fondness for dancing, even in his role as governor.
