Shelby Krout Obituary, Death – YORK- Shelby J. (Fake) Krout, 69, died at Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 27, 2011. She was the late Ralph O. Krout, Sr.’s widow, who died on December 17, 2010. They’d been married for 46 years. The Reverend Anthony Zumbo will officiate at a graveside service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd.,

Mrs. Krout was born in Brogueville on February 2, 1942, the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Keefer) Fake.

Shelby was a caretaker for several years. Mrs. Krout was a dedicated member of the Windsor Church of God. She liked to crochet. Most importantly, she was a wonderful mother and grandma. Mrs. Krout is survived by two sons, Ralph O. Krout, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Felton and Mark A. Krout of York; two daughters, Polly M. Dennis of Hallam and Penny L. Hilliar and her husband, Steven of Windsor; six grandchildren; two brothers,

Dallas Fake and his wife, Mary of New Bridgeville and Rick Fake and his wife, Mary of New Bridgeville; four sisters, Helen Badders of Dallastown, Mary Jane Bender She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Fake Sr. and Robert Fake Sr., as well as a sister, Shirley Fake.
