Start was born as Kirshnik Khari Ball on the 18. June 1994 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He is American and of African American descent. He is popularly known as the third and youngest member of hip hop trio group Migos and it’s not surprising that Takeoff is amazing at what he does as sources say he is directly related to Keyate Marshall (Quavo) and Kiari Kendrell Cephus stands (offset).
Regarding his parents, his father died when he was four leaving him in the care of his mother who is a stylist. Life was pretty messed up for the rapper as he got everything he wanted and was mentored by his mother and cousins (Quavo and Offset) who became part of his home after they were abandoned by their father were. Even as a kid, Liftoff had ambitions to be a wrestler. Little did he know that one day he would storm the world as a rapper.
He started rapping when he was in eighth grade. He was influenced by Quavo, who had been with the act since high school and also released a mixtape. Shortly after the birth of the Polo Club, the group later decided to change their name and chose the name Migos. Some sources say the name of their later band, Migos, was coined after a drug house, while others say it comes from short for Amigos.Migo’s debut studio album, Yung Rich Nation was released on July 31, 2015 under independent label Quality Control Music, according to Billboard 200. Prior to the album’s release, the group was known for their numerous tours and live performances across the country. Subsequently, the group released another mixtape; Juug Season on August 25, 2011, following the mixtape No Label on June 1, 2012.
Migos got his big break with the release of their single, Bad and Boujee , which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was certified four times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Unfortunately, no credit earned by the album was assigned to Takeoff as he was not included in the song during that period due to his busy schedule.
Later, Takeoff, Quavo and Offset (Migos) released their second studio album, Culture which also claimed number one on the US Billboard 200. The album was later certified platinum by the RIAA in July 2017. On January 26, 2018, the group’s second album was retitled and released as Culture II. Like the others, Culture II was a Glamour!
