The Menu movie is an American dark comedy horror movie written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy and produced by Adam McKay, Betsy Koch, and Will Ferrell in 2022. It was directed by Mark Mylod and stars Will Tracy as the title character. The movie's main characters are a group of diners who learn the celebrity chef-owner of their upscale restaurant plans to murder them before the evening is done. Everything falls apart after egotistical chef Julian Slowik declares that everyone will pass away before the night's end. He makes the snooty visitors see and partake in many terrible activities while torturing them. All of the guests either helped him lose interest in his craft or currently make a life by taking advantage of artisans like him.

Julian has feelings for Margot, who surprisingly turns out to be an escort named Erin. She rejects the chance to consume his meal and refuses to fall for the marketing gimmick. After learning that she works in the service sector, Julian concludes that she is neither rich nor arrogant. She shouldn't be at Hawthorne, therefore.

After letting Margot leave, Chef Julian tells the diners that the dessert is an enhanced s'mores dish. The kitchen staff swiftly covers the floor with graham cracker crumbs and dresses the visitors in little marshmallow capes and chocolate hats. Then Julian sets the eatery on fire, turning the customers into human s'mores. If you weren't sure, everyone now perishes (except Margot, of course, who watches this go down from the Coast Guard boat).

Then Slowik illustrates his thesis with Tyler, a self-proclaimed food expert incapable of even cooking. The chef criticizes the dish Tyler was made to prepare under duress and then whispers something into his ear, which ultimately causes Tyler to commit suicide. Slowik permits Margot to contribute in various ways, even if she wasn't intended to be a part of this (though he tells her she will still die with everyone else).
