Nik Kershaw, who was born as Nicholas David Kershaw, on 1 March 1958, is a renowned English musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. A former jazz-funk guitarist, he became a teenage sensation in the 1980s, and his 62-week presence on the UK Singles Chart in 1984 surpassed all other solo artists. Kershaw made an appearance at the Live Aid dual-venue concert in 1985 and has contributed several hit songs for other artists, including the UK chart-topping single “The One and Only” for Chesney Hawkes in 1991. His notable tracks include “I Won’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me”, “Wouldn’t It Be Good”, and “The Riddle”.
