Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi and her husband Stan Nze have opened up about the moment they discovered they were expecting a baby.
As most people know, the couple is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child. They decided to give their fans and followers a glimpse into their pregnancy journey by sharing a video on their YouTube channel.
In the video, the couple individually recounted how they found out about the pregnancy. Blessing revealed that she discovered she was two months pregnant a few days before her birthday, which falls on May 6th, 2023.
She shared that while standing in for her husband at a friend’s showroom event, she confided in a friend about her headache and pain. The friend suggested she take a pregnancy test, but Blessing initially hesitated because she didn’t want to be disappointed. Eventually, she gave in and took the test, which confirmed her pregnancy. Overwhelmed with joy, she shed tears for hours, as she had been praying for the gift of motherhood.
Meanwhile, Stan, who was out of the country at the time, discovered the news on Blessing’s birthday. On her special day, she surprised him along with their close friends by presenting him with a box of baby gifts, which he considered the strangest gift he had ever received.
Initially puzzled, Stan couldn’t comprehend what was happening until Blessing revealed that she was pregnant.
Many well-known figures, including Omoni Oboli, Destiny Etiko, Juliana Olayode, and Juliet Ibrahim, expressed their love and sent their best wishes to the couple.
A few hours ago, Stan Nze announced that he and his wife were expecting their first child.
This celebration also marks a double blessing in their home as they are also celebrating their second wedding anniversary.
Accompanied by a heartfelt video, Stan’s post showed his wife tenderly touching her baby bump. The couple was also captured on film wearing traditional attire during the video shoot.
In September of last year, Blessing Nze and Stan Nze sparked controversy on their anniversary, leading many to believe that all was not well in their relationship.
During the surprise anniversary celebration arranged by their fans, a video captured Stan Nze displaying signs of irritation and anger, which raised concerns among their supporters.
Addressing their anniversary, Stan admitted that it wasn’t a joyous occasion for them. He revealed that he and his wife were in different moods and had argued without reaching a compromise.
