After Mauritius pulled out from the qualifiers, Nigeria’s Flamingos are now set to play against Central African Republic in the second round of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The initial fixture involving Mauritius and Cape Verde has been affected by Mauritius’ withdrawal from the qualifiers this month.
The two-legged second round clash between Nigeria and Central African Republic is scheduled to take place from February 2 to 11, 2024.
Nigeria’s Flamingos secured the third position in the previous edition of the U-17 Women’s World Cup that was hosted by India.
The next edition of the competition will be held in the Dominican Republic from October 16 to November 3, 2024.
