Tony Devereux Obituary, Death – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Tony Devereux, a beloved resident of Brockwell, who peacefully departed this life at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on November 11, 2023, at the age of 62. Tony’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
For an impressive 46 years, Tony served as a Duty Officer at Queens Park Leisure Centre, dedicating his time and energy to the community he cared for. His commitment to his role was unwavering, making a lasting impact on the lives of those he served and the colleagues he worked alongside.
A funeral service to honor Tony’s life will be held at Chesterfield Crematorium on Tuesday, November 28, at 3:30 pm. In accordance with the family’s wishes, they kindly request no flowers be sent. Instead, contributions in Tony’s memory can be made to benefit the Derbyshire Air Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation.
