A Zimbabwean man, known only as Mandla, lost his life in a fatal car accident after killing his side chick.
Following a violent altercation that resulted in the death of his side chick, Mandla was trying to escape accountability for his actions, which led to the tragic accident.
In a voice note sent by Mandla, he narrated the physical altercation over infidelity with his side chick. Reports indicated that Mandla financially supported the woman and even sent her on fully paid holidays. However, their relationship soured due to alleged unappreciated efforts and love, leading to a physical fight. During the altercation, the woman struck her head on a solid object, causing her untimely demise.
Realizing the severity of the situation, Mandla fled the scene in his Mercedes Benz, speeding down Gwanda Road, possibly attempting to return to South Africa.
In a voice note sent to a WhatsApp group, Mandla confessed his actions and namedroped his girlfriend’s friend, Anele, alleging her involvement in the affair.
However, his escape met a devastating end when his Mercedes collided head-on with an inter-Africa bus upon reaching Kensington. The collision resulted in Mandla’s death, while the bus occupants luckily escaped without injury.
Mandla, who was married, is survived by his wife and five children, according to acquaintances.
