Several Nigerian celebrities have expressed their support for On-Air Personality, Do2dtun, as he faces a custody battle with his ex-wife, Taiwo.
Do2dtun recently took to his Instagram page to voice his distress over the abduction of his children.
In his emotional post, Do2dtun expressed his sadness over the failure of Nigeria’s system and vowed to keep fighting, albeit in a different way.
He admitted that this news has made it the saddest day of his life and highlighted the challenges of being different or overly edgy and facing stereotypes.
Upon reading his post, Ufuoma McDermott, BBNaija Khafi, Nikki Laoye, and Precious Chikwendu showed their support in the comment section.
Ufuoma McDermott wrote, “It is not over. Those girls deserve the love of BOTH parents. Keep doing what you can as a human and let God do the rest.”
Precious Chikwendu, former wife of FFK, wrote, “Wow! Stay strong Dotun.”
BBNaija Khafi commented, “I truly pray for a swift resolution. Pele Dotun, I’m so sorry this is happening.”
Nikki Laoye added, “Sending you so much love and prayers. May God help fix this, stay strong. Don’t stop fighting to be with your kids. I pray that God’s hands guide this situation towards a speedy and much-needed resolution in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
As a reminder, Do2dtun has been publicly addressing his ex-wife and her family for over a week. He accuses them of denying him access to their children and has provided videos and evidence to support his claims.
Three days ago, he issued a 24-hour ultimatum to his ex-wife, her brother, and D’Banj, demanding access to his kids. After the ultimatum expired without resolution, he turned to social media and even conducted a tearful interview with Daddy Freeze, pleading for access to his children.
While his wife eventually released a statement promising to grant him access to the kids, Do2dtun’s recent revelation about their abduction overseas suggests that her assurance may not be genuine.
