BIOGRAPHY
Attracted by comedy from a young age, Vanessa Marcil took the stage in a local theater at 8 years old. She appeared in Neil Simon ‘s plays “Fools” , “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and “Southern Rapture” , then made her television debut in 1992 with a regular role on the soap Central Hospital . After 6 years in the daily soap opera, she joined Luke Perry and Tori Spelling in the hit series Beverly Hills (1998) for 2 seasons. She then guest starred in Spin City (2001) and New York Police Blues , before establishing herself in 2003 as a Las Vegas casino hostess . For her big screen debut in 1996, she became Nicolas Cage
‘s girlfriend in Michael Bay ‘s Rock . Three years later, she participated in the independent films Nice Guys Sleep Alone and This Space Between Us alongside Poppy Montgomery . In 2002, she tried to save the world in the action film Storm Watch.
