Kenneth Paul Block, popularly known as Ken Block, has been confirmed dead at age 55.
The Rally icon and businessman Ken Block died in a snowmobile crash. His death has got the sporting world to mourn him.
He was also one of the founders of DC Shoes.
His rally team has confirmed the sudden death of Ken Block in a statement.
“It’s with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today,” a statement posted to Instagram read.
“Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And, most importantly, a father and husband.
“He will be incredibly missed.
“Please respect the family’s privacy at this time while they grieve.”
Ken Block died from injuries he sustained riding a snowmobile on a steep slope when the snowmobile upended, landing on top of him.” He died on the spot.
Ken Block died on January 2, 2023, in Utah, in the United States of America. He was 55 years old.
