Nick Colletti was able to capitalize on his Vined fame in new opportunities, seeking revenue from platforms with better monetization models such as YouTube and Instagram. Age and early life
The Viner alum was born Nicholas Colletti on July 9, 1994, in Honolulu, Hawaii, but grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a child, he was in love with music and was interested in everything related to sound and cinema, and therefore his exploration of his creative abilities. He started making music videos and honing his musical talent. Nick also has this innate ability to crack his ribs and often stage his friends with a plethora of funny jokes and anecdotes.

Nick Colletti became famous for his works on the video sharing platform. His relationship with LA-based music producer and dubstep DJ Getter (you’ll learn more about their friendship in a moment) further heightened his significance. The six-second video app was taken down at the end of 2016 and archived in January 2017. After its hiatus, Colletti left to pursue a career in music under the nickname Yung Thud.
His fame has however transcended to other platforms such as Twitter where he commands a following of 474k and image sharing site, Instagram with 530k followers. He also has a strong presence on video-sharing site YouTube, which has over 52,000 subscribers. Of course, these numbers are increasing and are expected to increase further.
Bromance with Getter
Getter whose real name is Tanner Petulla and NickColletti first met on Twitter (surprisingly not Vine where their friendship was popularized). They followed each other for a while, got to know each other, and eventually reunited in real life, though their friendship broke into the mainstream with their famous Vine titled “Suh Dude.” The phrase Suh Dude is colloquial for “what’s up?
After they met, they became very close and inseparable and also have creative collaborations including a clothing line, music, and touring. Their unique sense of humor has also sparked a creative movement across the country.
Along with being a musician (known by his alias Terror Reid), DJ and music producer, Nick’s pal Getter was also part of the web series called DJ World which was created by Fillion Francis. He launched his own record label in 2017 and owns a clothing line called Trippy Burger. Too many accomplishments in his young life, you would say; This resourceful and talented guy was born in April 1993.
The duo have also incorporated the famous phrase “SuhMec” into their various ventures, even as merchandise for their clothing brand. The brand sells “Suh Dude” shirts and other official “Suh Dude” merchandise.

Colletti forged his own musical career and rose to fame as a rapper with several works to his name including a popular music video for the song “Wooby Woo”. He uses the pseudonym Yung Turd and is known for the hip hop and Trap Rap genre. His discography includes 3 albums ( Gas, tears, ghost – all released in 2016), and an EP – Halo. His most notable singles are Suh My Fuh Dih Bih (2006), Hood Rich (2006) and Shamoo (2017).
