She is of Puerto Rican descent and was born on December 27, 1990 in Queens, New York. This makes his citizenship American. Zelina Vega grew up in a family that loved sports; she played baseball, swam, and often watched wrestling with her father, Michael, and brother, Timothy. Her parents later divorced when she and her brother were tender but still kept in touch.

By 17, Zelina Vega had decided to pursue a career in wrestling and it saw her start training under Javi-Air, Azrieal and TJ Perkins. She was quick to learn and soon enough she was ready to make her professional wrestling debut. Vega debuted on February 20, 2010 under the ring name “Divina Fly” at National Wrestling Superstars (NWS) Bloomfield, New Jersey. She, however, started off with a losing streak but quickly returned to great fighting form.
