Leading Nigeria Premier Football League team, Katsina United, has announced the appointment of Bala Abubakar as the head coach.
Abubakar has officially entered into a one-year contract with the Chanji Boys.
He succeeds Tony Bolus, who was relieved of his duties by the club’s management earlier this week.
With three victories from 12 league matches in the current season, Katsina United currently holds the 15th position with 14 points.
Abubakar’s inaugural game in his new role will be against Bendel Insurance on Sunday.
