Alix Kendall, co-host of the famous Fox 9 Morning News, was born on May 9, 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Little information is available about her parents, other than that she was raised by her mother, Camile, who worked as a switchboard operator at WTCN TV, now known as KARE TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Very little is known about Kendall’s childhoodshe rarely talks about it. However, she once revealed that when she was a child, she had a dream of becoming a basketball player. It’s quite unfortunate that her dream didn’t come true as she ended up growing up a few feet shorter than the average height for professional basketball players.
In terms of her education, the right journalist graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1976. She then graduated from Brown College at the University of Minnesota.

After graduating from university, AlixKendall secured a job at the handwriting analysis booth at the Minnesota State Fair. After her stint on the stand, the accomplished journalist landed a job as a DJ at KELN FM radio station in North Platte, Nebraska, in 1985. She later relocated to Omaha, Nebraska to host Nebraska shows on many radio stations in the city before joining KLXK-FM.
Two years later, Kendall first grabbed her television work as an intern at WCCO-TV Station. Shortly after her internship, she was a nightly news anchor and reporter for KAAL-TV in Austin, Minnesota. Prior to working with Fox 9, the talented host hosted several television networks including KRQE-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a weekend anchor and reporter, and co- hosted Show 19 in Cincinnati, Ohio for three years .
