Young women working on Andrew Tate

Reports suggest that young women who joined Andrew Tate’s workforce in Romania were marked with the words “owned by Tate” as tattoos.

The controversial social media influencer, known for his controversial views on women, is accused of having some of his online sex business workers tattooed.

Tate is currently in custody in Romania, where authorities are investigating allegations of his involvement in the rape and human trafficking of women at his luxurious villa.

The investigation was initiated after a 22-year-old woman reported being held against her will last year.

The police were able to locate Andrew Tate’s whereabouts after he sent a pizza box to taunt climate change activist Greta Thunberg.

On December 29, 2022, he and his younger brother Tristan, along with two assistants, were arrested by the police.

Sources in the police force informed the Times that the women and other alleged victims had the phrase “owned by Tate” tattooed on them.

Romanian authorities allege that the 36-year-old held six women “under constant house arrest like prisoners” at his property.

A judicial source previously told the Mail: “The abuse was both physical and emotional. They were not allowed to leave the house without security and were under constant surveillance.”

It is purported that Tate coerced the women into creating pornographic content against their will and kept the profits for himself.

Tate was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking, rape, and leading an organized crime group.

Officers from the city’s anti-organized crime unit conducted a search of the property and placed both brothers, along with their assistants, in custody.

A Romanian judge subsequently granted permission to detain Andrew Tate for 30 days while the investigation continues.

Tate has denied all the allegations, and his representative Avocat Vidineac Eugen Constatin stated that they would appeal the judge’s decision.

In a ruling issued on Thursday, January 5, a judge stated that prosecutors had provided evidence of Tate’s “disregard towards women in general, which he sees only as a means to make easy profits.”
