Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has shared her final interaction with singer Mohbad.
On her Instagram page, Bukunmi disclosed the last message she received from the singer, which expressed his love and promise to support her.
Bukunmi expressed a mix of sadness and happiness about Mohbad’s passing.
She acknowledged that he is now in a better place where his life is no longer in danger.
The mother of one also mentioned that she feels honored to have been able to show her support and love for him while he was alive.
“I got you… That was your last message and symbol in our chat. I’m sad and happy at the same time because you are in a better place now. No one would come after your life again, my friend. You are safe now, Imole. It’s an honor that I was able to show my last support and love while you were here. Good night Oladimeji,” she wrote.
Bukunmi is not the only celebrity who shared their last moments with the singer.
OAP Do2dtun remembered being at a show with Mohbad just a few days ago, smiling and laughing together without realizing it would be their last moment.
BBNaija’s Tacha also recalled hosting the singer on her radio show, unaware that it would be the last time she would see him.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Mohbad, whose real name is Ifeoluwa Oladimeji Aloba, passed away at the age of 27.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by entertainment journalist Ovie on Twitter.
He revealed that the former Marlian signee passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Sources close to Mohbad’s family and friends disclosed that he succumbed to complications from a severe ear infection.
The news was met with disbelief by many, who suspected that there might be more to his death.
