Diddy’s somber appearance in Miami comes after reaching a settlement in the abuse lawsuit with Cassie. The rapper was captured in photos looking stressed while sitting outside his Miami home on Saturday, Nov. 18. Dressed casually in a T-shirt and sweatpants, he was accompanied by his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, who showed him something on her cell phone before he decided to lie down on the outdoor couch. Additionally, he was seen taking a long phone call and pacing around his estate.

This marks Diddy’s first public appearance since Cassie filed the lawsuit on Thursday, Nov. 16, alleging years of physical, sexual, and mental abuse. The court documents also accused Diddy of forcing her into sexual activities and physically abusing her.

However, Diddy denied these claims, with his attorney Ben Brafman stating that Ventura had been seeking money before filing the lawsuit. Just a day after the lawsuit was filed, a settlement was reached, with both parties emphasizing that it was done amicably.

Ventura expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from her family, fans, and lawyers, stating that the matter was resolved amicably. Diddy echoed this sentiment and wished Cassie and her family the best. His lawyer also reiterated that the settlement does not imply an admission of guilt.
