Florence Faivre is an actress and model who is popular for La Renaissance du Siam which happens to be her first film. She began her career at the age of 13 as a television host before later moving into modeling and then acting. Inasmuch as she hasn’t handled too many movies or even TV shows over the years, she’s still done well with the ones she’s done.

Florence Faivre was born on June 8, 1983 in Bangkok, Thailand. While her father was French, her mother was from Thailand. Although she was born in Bangkok, she spent the first eight years of her life in France, in Aix-en-Provence, before returning to Thailand at the age of thirteen.

Most of her life is dominated by her professional career which started when she was only 13 years old. At the time, she was the TV host for the programs – Parler ado and E pour Teen. At 14, she explored the world of modeling and started her career as a model.

The French-Thai model appeared on the cover of Number Thailand in February 2014. A month earlier, she appeared on the cover of Downton Rhythm (Vogue Thailand). More so, she announced 5 Gum and Banana Republic. From 2008 to 2010, Faivre took part in the Ready To War (Koi Suwannagate) fashion shows.

Acting career

Although she started out as a TV host and moved on to become a model, it was as an actress that she came to make a name for herself. She started her acting career soon after graduating from high school.

The first role she played as an actress was as Maneechan in the 2004 film, Siam Renaissance. Her performance in the Thai historical fantasy film which was adapted from Thommayanti’s 1986 novel Thawiphop earned her a nomination for the Suphannahong Award for Best Actress.

After that, she had the role of Kim in Chok-Dee in 2005, followed by The Elephant King. The Coffin which is yet another Thai film was her next project in 2008 and then Donation Taker Heartbreaker in 2009. From then on, she did not appear in any film until 2018 when she is appeared in Sad Beauty as Yo.

Although she hasn’t appeared in many films, she also has a number of television productions to her credit. In most cases however, she only made brief appearances during single episodes. She made a guest appearance in Kings (2009) as a hot secretary in two episodes. 2010 saw her appear in an episode of How to Make It America as Celine. In 2014, she was Serena and Teata Takaria in The Next and Alpha House respectively.

From 2015 to 2017, she had the lead role of Juliette “Julie” Andromeda Mao in The Expanse. This was followed by minor roles in Time After Time and Taurus in 2017. She was in Agents of SHIELD Sinara from 2017 to 2018, playing a recurring role.

For her role in American Mirror – Intimations of Immortality (2018), Florence Faivre was nominated for the DOC LA Award for Best Actress in 2018.

Family

Without knowing too much about his family, it is clear that, as has been pointed out, while his father is French, his mother is Thai. Because of her family line, she is fluent in English and French, although it is unknown how much Thai she speaks.
