A series of new appointments have been made by Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo to various positions across the aviation agencies.
The disclosure was made by Odutayo Oluseyi, the Head of Press at the Federal Ministry of Aviation, on Thursday.
In line with this, a new Directorate of Cargo Services has been established at the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria to address the challenges facing the sector.
Part of the statement reads, “All the newly appointed directors should contact the Director of the Human Resource Department of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, to receive their letters of appointment as the appointment is effective immediately.
“Additionally, a new directorate called Cargo Services has been set up at the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria to alleviate the challenges facing the sector.”
This development comes shortly after the dismissal of all directors of aviation by the Federal Government and less than 24 hours after the removal of all heads of aviation agencies from their positions.
