Showing commendable unity and civic responsibility, the people of Calabar have returned the stolen pendants of artist Mayorkun, prompting Iyanya to express his gratitude towards his fellow Calabar residents. Mayorkun had recently experienced the theft of his two valuable necklaces, each worth millions of Naira, which led to an emotional outcry from the artist.

Iyanya, also hailing from Calabar, took to Twitter to appeal for assistance in recovering the stolen items. He emphasized that such behavior was uncharacteristic of the usually peaceful people of Calabar and highlighted the community’s responsibility to ensure the protection and extend warm hospitality to the visiting artist.

In a commitment to resolve the matter, Iyanya urged anyone with information about the theft to return the pendants, promising personal compensation. Following the swift response from the Calabar residents, Iyanya expressed his appreciation and announced the recovery of the first pendant and necklace.

Mayorkun later confirmed the recovery of the second pendant and expressed gratitude to his Calabar people for their integrity and assistance in retrieving the stolen items. He extended sincere thanks to the community for their collective effort in bringing back the stolen items and restoring a sense of justice to the situation.

The recovery of the stolen pendants seems to have mended the strained sentiments following Mayorkun’s distressing experience. In a separate note, Iyanya had been at the center of dating rumors with reality TV star and media personality Vee Iye in August, adding a touch of intrigue to his social media presence.
