He is best known for his role as Joe Hackett in the NBC sitcom “Wings” (1990-1997), as well as for his role as Pete Wilder in “Private Practice” (2007-2012) and his appearance in “The Sopranos” (2004-2007) as drug addict screenwriter J.T.
