Jan Crouch was born on 14 March 1938, in New Brockton, Alabama USA. Alongside her husband, she founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and held many positions including Vice President and Director of Network Programming and TBN Director. Jan Crouch has an estimated net worth of $50 million, most of which was earned through the success of TBN which transitioned to 24-hour programming that was commercial-free and became the largest Christian television network in the United States with several affiliated networks. She received numerous awards including an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the Oral Roberts University, a Golden Angel Award for Excellence in Media, and the Parents Television Council Entertainment Seal of Approval twice.
Crouch married Paul Crouch in 1957 and the couple founded TBN in 1974. They had two children who became part of TBN. In 2012, Crouch was accused by her granddaughter of misappropriating funds from the network for unnecessary personal use. She passed away on 31 May 2016, following a stroke.
