Elliot Page, known for the role in Juno, has posted a photo without a shirt on social media, 5 months after publicly coming out as transgender.
The actor, now identifying as a man, disclosed in March that they had undergone surgery to remove breast tissue and reconstruct the remaining chest tissue and skin.
What Elliot Page looked like
In an interview with Time magazine, Elliot Page mentioned that the surgery allowed them to finally see themselves when looking in the mirror, providing the catharsis they had been yearning for since the “complete hell” of puberty.
On Monday, May 24, Elliot took to Instagram and shared the new photo, flaunting their physique.
“Trans bb’s first swim trunks,” they captioned the image of themselves in a pair of red shorts, along with the hashtags “#transjoy” and “#transisbeautiful.”
