Speaking out, Nicole Chikwe, the wife of Nigerian rapper Naeto C, talks about the body shaming and trolling she endured from Nigerians when she began her relationship with Naeto C.
She reveals that at just 22 years old, she started dating the rapper, who was very popular at the time.
Chikwe recounts how people took to Twitter between 2010 and 2012 to criticize her facial features and body, with some stating that Naeto C deserved better.
She admits that the online attacks had an impact on her, particularly due to her young age, but eventually, she turned the negativity around.
According to her, the dragging became the “catalyst” for her journey towards self-love.
Today, she proudly refers to herself as “Premium Pie” and “Finest in Lagos”.
