Niecy Nash is an American actress, model, producer and comedian. Her full names are Carol Denise “Niecy” Nash.

She was born on the 23 rd of February 1970 in Compton, California. She spent her early years in St. Louis, Missouri, where she discovered her life dream at the age of 5. Niecy graduated from California State University.

Niecy is fiercely passionate about the effects of violence on society after nearly losing his mother who was shot by her own boyfriend. His mother later recovered from injuries, but his brother Michael lost his life to gun violence. Nash had to sit and watch his mother sink into depression. She discovered creative ways to help her mother out of her depression, she started telling jokes and soon realized she had a hidden talent in comedy.

Her mother then started MAVIS (Mothers Against Violence in Schools). The goal of the program is to educate the public about the violence and dangers students face on campus. Niecy is currently the national spokesperson for MAVIS

Niecy debuted in the 1995 film Boys to the Side. She has had numerous guest appearances with starring roles in television series such as NYPD, CSI, and Judging Amy. From 2003 to 2009, she starred as Williams and TT in the Reno 911 series . She additionally hosted the Clean House on the 2003-2010 period style as well as the voice of Ms. Boos on the animated series Lazy Cats. She won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2010 and She received 2 Primetime Emmy Award Critics in a Comedy Series and a Critics Choice Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her tremendous performance as nurse Denise “Didi” Ortley in the HBO comedy G Etting On (2013-2015).

Niecy’s latest film Not Easily Broken, is based on Bishop TD Jakes’ best-selling novel. She is also working on publishing Walt Disney Pictures’ summer blockbuster, G-Force, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
