The authorities are searching for Obinna Igbokwe, a Nigerian man, who is suspected of shooting his wife and killing her grandmother in Spring, Texas. The incident took place on June 1, 2022, at a residence on Aldine Westfield Road. The 41-year-old Igbokwe allegedly shot his wife, Tangela Igbokwe, in the head during a dispute over custody of their 3-month-old son, Mansa. His wife was critically injured, and her grandmother, Linda Larkins, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the shooting, Igbokwe fled the scene with his 3-month-old son in a 2008 white Honda Accord with license plate #KMY 0702. He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office released a statement urging the public to report any information regarding Igbokwe’s whereabouts. They emphasized that he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Officials are conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident and urge anyone with information to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-STOP [7867] and refer to case number 22A161172. An Amber Alert has been issued for the child as law enforcement believes that the child is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.
