1) Ross Poldark as Aidan Turner
The show's protagonist, 38-year-old Aidan Turner, first gained notoriety as Ross Poldark, thanks mainly to THAT shirtless scything photo. Still, he has since established his acting career and star status in several high-profile roles. In his most recent performance, Turner co-stars with Matt Berry in the classic BBC comedy Toast of Tinseltown. For Turner fans, though, the excitement doesn't end there as he will star in ITV's riveting new psychological thriller series, The Suspect, later this year. The producers of Line of Duty, Vigil, and The Pembrokeshire Murders are behind the five-part thriller.

2) Eleanor Tomlinson as Demelza Poldark
Recently, 29-year-old Eleanor Tomlinson and Sam Claflin co-starred in the Netflix romantic comedy Love Wedding Repeat. But there's also something of a Poldark reunion in the film. That's because Tomlinson and Jack Farthing, the actors who portrayed Demelza Poldark and George Warleggan, Ross' envious arch-rival in Poldark, respectively, also played the bride, Hayley, and her desperate ex, Marc.
3) Jack Farthing as George Warleggan
Actor Jack Farthing from Poldark played Prince Charles in the Princess Diana drama Spencer. The 36-year-old singer co-starred in the movie with Kristen Stewart, who played Dianna. Additionally, he appears in the brand-new BBC drama Chloe as the melancholy companion Richard of the title heroine. The entire series is currently viewable on iPlayer. In addition to the Love above Wedding Repeat from 2020, he also worked with Olivia Colman on the rambling and suspenseful drama The Lost Daughter in 2021, as well as on Official Secrets in 2019.
4) Luke Norris as Dr. Dwight Enys
Luke Norris, 36, who portrayed Dr. Dwight Enys, Ross's longstanding Army comrade, in the thriller The Weekend Away, based on Sarah Alderson's best-selling book of the same name, is another Netflix credit. He co-stars in the suspenseful "who dunnit" film with Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, playing her husband.
5) Heida Reed as Elizabeth Poldark
Ross' childhood girlfriend Elizabeth Warleggan was portrayed in Poldark by 33-year-old Icelandic actress Heida Reed. In the CBS crime thriller series FBI: International, Reed now portrays FBI Special Agent Jamie Kellett while working with Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf. In post-production is the film Summerlight... and Then Comes the Night.
