PARRAMATTA Eels legend and sports commentator Peter ‘Sterlo’ Sterling and his wife Selina are selling their home on the Central Coast.
The four-bedroom property in Matcham is spread across two lots and was bought by Sterling in 1997 for $495,000, CoreLogic data reveals.
On 3.2 hectares of land, it looks like Sterling has been living the good life, with an infinity pool surrounded by tropical gardens.
There is also an entertainment area with built-in barbecue and outdoor kitchen.
Inside is just as luxurious, with an open-plan family room with fireplace and stone kitchen. A media room, office space, horse paddocks and fantastic views all add to the appeal.
Sterling is most famous for being an instrumental member of the Parramatta side that won four premierships during the 1980s.
He was also co-host of The NRL Footy Show from 1994-2006 alongside Paul Vautin.
More recently Sterling rejoined the Channel 9 commentary team after a stint hosting his own program on Fox Sports.
Rumours have been circling that Sterling is looking to move back to Sydney after over 20 years on the Central Coast.
