Taylor Michel Momsen is an American actress, singer and model, born on July 26, 1993, in St. Louis, Missouri. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a model, from the age of two, with a contract signed by her parents for the well-known agency Ford Models, which led her to work in print advertising and commercials, and shortly after she achieved her first roles as an actress. . At the age of six she made her film debut with a role in the film The Prophet’s Game (2000) and shortly after she had one of the main roles, as Cindy Lou Who, in the family comedy The Grinch (2000), alongside Jim Carrey. She began to dedicate herself more to music, studying and preparing herself vocally while combining her career as a model and actress, in films such as Hansel & Gretel (2002), Paranoid Park (2007) and the series Gossip Girl (2007-2012). . After the series, Taylor has moved away from acting and focused on her musical career as the leader and vocalist of the rock band The Pretty Reckless , with whom she has released three studio albums, between 2010 and 2016.
