A devastating incident has occurred in Phuket, Thailand where a Russian model fell to her death from a condominium, plummeting 80ft.

Evgenia Simonova, a 37-year-old Russian tourist and webcam model, tragically sustained fatal head injuries and a broken leg in the incident, which took place on the eighth floor of a resort residential complex.

Disturbingly, she was found holding a clump of human hair in her hand at the scene of the tragedy, leading Thai police to consider the possibility that she may have been pushed.

Subsequently, authorities have initiated a forensic analysis of the hair sample held in Simonova’s hand to identify potential evidence of whom she may have grabbed onto as she fell.

The grim discovery was made after Simonova’s arrival in Phuket on May 25, with her untimely death occurring in the early hours of May 31.

Following the incident in the infamous Patong nightlife zone, another Russian woman named Natalia Kosenkova, along with two men, was detained on suspicion of drug use, as reported by the Bangkok Post.

The individuals in question were identified as American Jamaal Antwaun Smith, 38, and Jordanian Ahmad Radi Mustafa Alatoom, 28. Notably, Alatoom was apprehended while attempting to leave Thailand subsequent to Simonova’s untimely demise.

Reports have suggested the presence of a ‘sex, drugs and alcohol party’ at the Emerald Terrace condominium complex in Patong, where Simonova fell from, indicating the potential circumstances around the tragic incident.

Kosenkova, who is a model, DJ, and dental assistant, has asserted her innocence in the wake of Simonova’s demise, refusing to divulge further details based on her lawyer’s instructions.

According to Kosenkova, the unfortunate incident was not a murder, and she and those involved are not culpable.

Denying the claims that the party encompassed sex and drugs, she clarified that she had only met Simonova on the night of the occurrence, and highlighted the dignified and respectable behavior of herself and Smith.

Thai authorities, including Police Major General Sermphan Sirikhon, are considering three theories – an accident, suicide, or homicide, and are diligently working to ascertain the truth behind this tragic event.

Earlier assessments suggesting an accidental fall while looking at the view from the balcony or the possibility of a homicidal act resulting from an argument, are currently being investigated as detectives work to unravel the mystery of Simonova’s fatal plunge.
