Uche Uganda is an American actor, born in 2001, in Westhampton, New Jersey. In October 2020, Uche was lying in his bed, scrolling through social media, where he found a post from his idol, basketball star Giannis Antetokounmpo, where he mentioned a film that Disney was producing about his story and the life of him. Barely graduating from high school, Uche, who had never acted, decided to audition for the lead role, accompanied by his brother. His surprise was greater when he discovered that both had been selected for the roles of Giannis and his brother Thanasis, for the film Rise (2022), which represents his first experience as actors.
