Brooke Van Sickle hit a blistering .520 while putting down a match-high 14 kills to lead the University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-23, 25-16 victory over UC Riverside on Saturday night in Honolulu.
Van Sickle had just one hitting error in 25 attempts as she recorded her 30th career double-digit kill match. She also had four aces and nine digs.
Riley Wagoner added 13 kills and setter Kate Lang had 37 assists and 10 digs for UH (14-6, 11-1 Big West Conference). The Rainbow Wahine outhit Riverside .324 to .223.
Isabella Scarlett and Deja Bickers each had eight kills for the Highlanders (5-17, 1-11).
The Rainbow Wahine go back on the road to take on Cal State Fullerton on Friday and Long Beach State next Saturday.
