Vicky met Chris when she was on tour in France with the band Audioslave. Karayiannis was reportedly doing his publicity report while the band was on tour in France. Things soon got going for the couple and it didn’t take long for Chris to propose to Vicky. She evidently said she did, and the couple made their vows in 2004 in the presence of close friends and family.
Later in September 2004, Vicky gave birth to the couple’s first child, Toni Cornell. Just a year later, she gave birth to Christopher Nicholas Cornell. Before finding Vicky, Chris was married to Alice In Chains manager Sarah Silver. Things did not work out for this couple and they divorced in 2004. Later on, Chris was going through various mental problems. Later, his doctor prescribed psychoactive drugs, which were a dangerous drug that he was slightly altered. Chris passed away on May 17 after performing with his band a few hours earlier. His passing was terrible news to everyone and obviously came as a shock to Vicky. However, we wish her the best for her future.
Vicky Karayiannis: Net Worth and Social Media
Although Vicky made a good sum of money as a publicist, she was nowhere as famous as her late husband. Chris was probably one of the greatest musicians of this generation and his death is a tragic loss for all of us. With all that he had accomplished, Chris had a net worth of $60 million. This amount now belongs to Vicky, but she has been using this wealth to help make this world a better place. She has been a part of several charities and wants to help New York’s at-risk children.
