Here comes the storm!
A winter weather advisory is up for Lake Tahoe Tuesday through Wednesday at 8pm, and a winter storm warning for the western slopes of the Sierra.
By Tuesday afternoon look for gusty winds and rain showers in our valleys with several inches of snow in the Sierra through Wednesday morning and slick mountain passes and chain controls.
Light snow is possible around town for the Wednesday morning commute along with scattered snow showers and colder temperatures through Thursday.
