Tichina Arnold, the American actress, has officially decided to end her marriage to Rico Hines, a player development coach of the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. They tied the knot in 2012 and are now heading for divorce.
The actress and Sacramento Kings staff coach separated in 2016 amid reports of an alleged sex tape scandal involving her husband and another woman.
At the time of the split, Tichina expressed her feelings, stating, “I had that feeling of, you know, beyond him being my husband, this is supposed to be my friend, my confidant. Somebody who I can trust. And when you can’t trust the person that you sleep with every night, there’s a problem. I could no longer trust him. I could no longer lay with him. And it doesn’t make him a horrible person. We all make mistakes, but not with me and not on my time and not in my life.”
According to TMZ, Tichina filed for divorce from Rico Hines this week, citing the usual irreconcilable differences. She lists the separation date as January 12, 2016, and she’s asking to block the court’s ability to award spousal support to either of them.
