One of the most renowned battle rappers, Pat Stay, was fatally stabbed in Nova Scotia, Canada.

The stabbing occurred in downtown Halifax early Sunday morning, September 4, as reported by the police.

Pat’s brother, Pete Stay, confirmed his passing to CBC.

Police were alerted to the stabbing just after 12:30 AM, and Pat was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

At present, no suspects have been apprehended in connection with the stabbing.

Patrick Wayne Stay was highly esteemed in the industry for his exceptional freestyling abilities during live rap battles.

His final rap battle, a diss aimed at rapper The Game, was posted on Twitter on September 2, less than 48 hours before his untimely demise.

Moments prior to his passing, he tweeted: “I very rarely use Twitter so please follow me on IG for all updates and content @patstay_902.”
