Implying a marital connection, Tanzanian music sensation, Diamond Platnumz has given hints about being married to his record label signee, Zuchu.
Reports emerged claiming that Diamond began a romantic relationship with Zuchu in December 2021. Some local news sources even suggested that they tied the knot on February 14, 2022, but there was no official confirmation or denial of the alleged wedding.
Diamond’s cousin, Romy Jones, who also serves as his official deejay, appeared to endorse the notion that the Bongo artist had indeed married Zuchu in a Muslim wedding held in Dar es Salaam.
He shared, “Yanayojiri Madale mchana huu Mashaallah mdogo angu nasibu ukatulie sasa. mzae na katoto kazuuuri mkaite Romeo (Referring to current events in Madale. Blessings, my younger brother Nasibu, settle down now. Raise a child and name it after me).”
It appears that Diamond Platnumz has indirectly confirmed his marital status through a social media interaction.
On an Instagram post by his record label WCB Wasafi, Diamond referred to himself as Zuchu’s husband.
“That’s Zuuh’s (Zuchu) husband,” remarked Diamond on a video shared by Wasafi featuring his captivating performance.
