A pair of local Boy Scout troops are continuing their tradition of selling Christmas trees this year.
You can find troops 4 and 107 selling trees on the corner of Plumb Lane and South Virginia Street.
The scouts get to learn public speaking and salesmen skills while the public gets to support the troops' programs.
"A lot of people who buy trees here come back to buy them again and I think word of mouth and advertising ends up meaning we sell more and more Christmas trees every year," said Colin Schiff, Life Scout in troop 4.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for both troops, and the money collected will pay for their year-round camps.
