Delanie Frances Wheeler was born on November 25, 1994, in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the youngest child in the family and was raised with two sisters and a brother. Unfortunately, Wheeler lost one of her sisters, Amanda, on March 9, 2018. She took to social media to post her grief and condolences to her sister.
During her school years, Luna would dress up as Disney princesses for parties. However, cosplay was never really a part of her interest, at least in the early years. Later, Ella Luna was involved in a horrible car accident and sustained a head injury. She then had to take a long break from college due to her treatments. While she was on leave, she was introduced to cosplay by one of her friends and instantly fell in love with the idea. Luna also got a scholarship to study microbiology at the university, but she did not go through it. However, she wants to go back to school at some point and get a degree.

Delanie knew that cosplay was the career she was looking for. She then decided to dedicate herself to it to earn a living. And so, Delanie Frances Wheeler created her own alias under Luna Laine and began to live out her newfound desire. She was able to travel the world and attend various conventions. In 2015, Luna claimed that she was sexually harassed by MomoCon convention attendees . It wasn’t just that, she again said that she had to go through the same thing at the DC Comics SDCC cosplay contest.

Laine has also landed small roles in TV series like ‘Nashville’, ‘Good Behavior’, etc. Later in 2018, she landed a role alongside Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. She went for the movie ‘The Week Of’ and was cast as a stripper.
