Lahaina Arts Society’s Banyan Tree Gallery is featuring artist Amanda McCumbee in the show, “Moments in Color” through May.
“Anytime I speak to people about my art, the most common response is, ‘It’s so rich and bold in color!’ “ offered McCumbee. “Maui is full of such spectacular views . . . it’s color that makes them so memorable.”
McCumbee will be in gallery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 23.

Maui Hands May artists in-gallery
Maui Hands Gallery at 612 Front St. in Lahaina features plein air painter Diane Snoey Appler from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays in May.
Every Wednesday at the Front St. location, watercolor artist Luana Kama will be in gallery from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Mixed media artist Christine Halton will be in gallery from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and May 31 at 1169 Makawao Ave. and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 24 at 84 Hana Hwy. in Paia.
In addition, during Makawao’s Third Friday Town Party May 18, oil painter Steve Rinaldi will be in gallery from 5 to 8 p.m.
