BIOGRAPHY
Nadia Townsend is an Australian actress, born in 1983, in Sydney, Australia. She became interested in acting in her teens and after some theater courses, she moved to New York, where she studied with the Atlantic Theater Company. In 1999, she returned to her native country and began producing theater with different talents, founding the Wolf Whistle theater company, where she achieved several successes on the stages of her country. Nadia had her first credit in 1998 with the film Occasional Coarse Language , which was followed by Blue Neon (2001) and Love Is in the Air (2003). Nadia also has an extensive television career in series such as Fireflies (2004), City Homicide (2009-2011), Home and Away (2013) and in films such as Danny Deckchair (2003), Omen (2009) and Little Monsters (2019). Townsend also earned a master’s degree in theater directing and often works as a screenplay consultant and playwright.
