According to court documents, Faith Evans, the U.S. singer, has urged a judge to dismiss Stevie J’s request for spousal assistance.

Florida News-Times has reported that Evans is aiming to retain all acquired property prior to marriage, through gifts, inheritance, or ingenuity, as well as after the date of separation. Additionally, she is seeking the judge’s denial to Stevie J’s request for spousal support.

As per the filings by Evans, the couple has been officially separated since May 29, 2020, while Stevie J states October 19, 2021.

Stevie J recently sought a court order for Faith Evans to pay spousal support in their ongoing divorce proceedings.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the famous record producer is requesting a monthly payment from his singer wife and is asking the court to disallow her from receiving any financial support from him.

The couple unexpectedly married in 2018 in Las Vegas, and at the time, they had been acquainted for over 20 years.
